Safe Motor Control

Our safe motor control products help reduce risks associated with the operation and maintenance of electrical equipment. CENTERLINE® ArcShield™ Arc Resistant Controllers and CENTERLINE 2500 and 2100 with ArcShield Motor Control Centers provide tight process control for applications requiring a higher level of personnel protection. Our ArmorStart® safety family of distributed motor controllers achieves Category 4 safety features while offering a safety solution integrated into a DeviceNet™ On-Machine™ safety installation. Our IEC safety contactors and control relays help protect people in the event of unexpected machine startup or loss of safety functions. The ElectroGuard® Safety Isolation System simplifies operator lockout procedures, helping to improve compliance and productivity. Contains the following products:

1. Motor Control Center, Low Voltage, with ArcShield

(1) CENTERLINE® 2500 IEC Motor Control Center

Our CENTERLINE® 2500 IEC Low Voltage Motor Control Centers (MCCs) are purpose-built to meet global application requirements. The CENTERLINE 2500 Motor Control Center combines a small form factor with comprehensive type testing to help meet customer needs. Our MCCs also help meet the global demand for factory floor-friendly, space-saving, energy-efficient, and cost-effective motor control solutions.

(2) CENTERLINE® 2100 NEMA Motor Control Center

Our CENTERLINE® 2100 NEMA Motor Control Center (MCC) combines rugged durability with superior quality, integrating control and power in one centralized package. Our industry-leading motor control centers are UL and NEMA compliant and provide solutions for networking, communications and security.

2. Motor controller, medium voltage, with ArcShield

Our CENTERLINE® 1500 Medium Voltage Motor Control Centers (MCCs) are available in a variety of control styles including arc resistant product designs. Controller options include full voltage, reverse control, drop voltage, solid state drop voltage, multi-speed, and synchronous control. These controllers feature load break switches that provide an integrated intelligence and the lowest cost solution for starter motor applications.

3. Safety Contactor

Our Bulletin 100S/104S IEC Safety Contactors provide mechanically connected or mirrored contact performance up to 750 A to meet the needs of feedback circuits for modern safety applications. Our Bulletin 100S Safety Contactors use mirrored contact performance to safely isolate hazardous moving loads. The mirrored contacts provide a reliable indication of the open or closed state of the mains electrodes.
