Safe motion control

Our safety servo drive products are designed to help minimize downtime and reduce energy and production waste while helping to increase machine productivity. The Kinetix® 300, 6000, 6200, 6500 and 7000 have built-in safety features. By using Safe Torque Off, the drive output is disabled to remove motor torque without removing power to the entire machine. Safe Speed Monitoring allows you to reduce and monitor the speed of your application to help operators perform certain types of work safely without bringing the machine to a complete stop. Contains the following products:

1. Kinetix 300 EtherNet/IP Index Pulse Drive

With Bulletin 2097 Kinetix® 300 EtherNet/IP™ Index Pulse Servo Drives, you can standardize on a single communication network for easier commissioning, configuration, and startup. A complete control solution (including HMI, controller, I/O and motion) can be integrated via EtherNet/IP while maintaining reliable high-speed connectivity.

2. Kinetix 350 Single Axis EtherNet/IP

Our Bulletin 2097 Kinetix® 350 Single-Axis EtherNet/IP™ Servo Drives feature integrated motion scalability. Using a single network, EtherNet/IP simplifies the integration of the entire system, including HMI, programmable automation controllers, I/O, and motion.

3. Kinetix 5500 EtherNet/IP

Bulletin 2198 Kinetix® 5500 Servo Drives connect to and operate with CompactLogix™ 5370 controllers to support integrated motion based on EtherNet/IP™. With its innovative compact design, Kinetix 5500 drives help minimize machine size and simplify system wiring. In addition, dual-port Ethernet supports linear and device-level ring (DLR) topologies.

4. Kinetix 5700 EtherNet/IP Servo Drive

Our Bulletin 2198 Kinetix® 5700 Servo Drives extend the value of integrated motion over EtherNet/IP to large custom machine builder applications. Kinetix 5700 servo drives help reduce commissioning time and improve machine performance. It's simple to use, powerful, and space-saving to help you get your machine up and running faster

5. Kinetix 6000 Multi-axis

Our Bulletin 2094 Kinetix® 6000 Multi-Axis Servo Drives help improve system performance while saving time and money. This drive helps make wiring, programming, operation and diagnostics quicker and easier. It also helps you reduce engineering and installation time while adding flexibility for demanding motion control applications. Our drivers meet global voltage requirements.

6. Kinetix 6200 Safe Speed Modular

Our Bulletin 2094 Kinetix® 6200 Servo Drives incorporate safety options and a flexible modular design into the multi-axis Kinetix 6000 Servo Drive family. The axis can be converted from Safe Shutdown to Safe Speed and from SERCOS interface to EtherNet/IP network. The Kinetix 6200 SERCOS interface drive is compatible with existing Kinetix 6000 systems, so you can upgrade any number of installed axes to the advanced safety you need when needed.

7. Kinetix 6500 EtherNet/IP

Bulletin 2094 Kinetix® 6500 EtherNet/IP™ Servo Drives combine high performance integrated motion with an open EtherNet/IP network. This drive can be used as part of an EtherNet/IP-enabled solution to integrate high-performance servo drives and AC drives, I/O, intelligent actuators, and any other device connected via EtherNet/IP. This drive provides safety features to increase operator safety and increase machine efficiency. Its modular construction provides an adjustable platform for future machine enhancements.

8. Kinetix 7000 High Power

Our Bulletin 2099 Kinetix® 7000 Servo Drives support motion control applications with extremely high power requirements. With a power output of up to 150 kW, this drive extends the benefits of Kinetix Integrated Motion to a wider range of applications. Kinetix 7000 servo drives can be seamlessly embedded into integrated architecture systems. The drive supports permanent magnet (synchronous) motors and induction (asynchronous) motors. Safety features help keep people safe while increasing productivity.
