Our presence sensing safety devices detect the location of objects or people in the vicinity of hazardous areas. Contains the following products:
1. Safety Light Curtain
Safety light curtains are photoelectric presence sensing safety devices that detect the presence of objects in the light curtain's sensing field. Mostly used in machine protection applications to detect the presence of human fingers, hands, limbs or the entire body. Light curtains, also known as AOPDs (Active Optoelectronic Protective Devices), provide optimum safety. They are ideal for applications where personnel need to reach hazardous operating points frequently and easily. Divided into POC and PAC light curtains:
Point-of-Operation Control (POC) Light Curtains: The 450L and 445L POC light curtains are placed closer to the danger, i.e., the operating points where people frequently interact with the machine during operation. POC light curtains are designed for partial body detection (finger, hand and arm detection) and are available in various resolutions and heights of protection. As an easy-to-install Category 4 SIL 3, PLe solution, these light curtains not only easily interface with other safety systems, but also function as a stand-alone unit since they typically do not require a separate controller (eg, no safety relays are required). POC light curtains are located at the point of operation of the machine, thus eliminating the need for doors, allowing frequent and easy access to hazardous areas, and can be used for ergonomic workstation control, increasing safety while increasing productivity. These light curtains can be installed vertically or horizontally. But it is important to note that once a person or object passes through the light curtain, the light curtain is no longer detecting it.
Perimeter Proximity Control (PAC) Light Curtains: The 450L and 445LPAC Light Curtains are easy-to-install Category 4 solutions for full body entry detection. PAC light curtains are designed to create a constructive safety perimeter around machines that do not require frequent interaction between people and hazardous areas during normal operation, and can detect larger objects passing through with a detection range of up to 30 meters. PAC light curtains can be easily connected to other safety systems or used as stand-alone devices without the need for dedicated control units/safety relays. But it is important to note that once a person or object passes through the light curtain, the light curtain is no longer detecting it.
2. Safety Laser Scanner
The SafeZone™ safety laser scanner is a compact device with switchable and configurable field kits (warning and safety). Each scanner comes with Windows®-based Safety Configuration and Diagnostic (SCD) software that simplifies programming of SafeZone safety laser scanners. Configuration wizards guide programmers through simple or complex system configurations.
3. Hand detection safety sensor
The Guardmaster™ SC300 Hand Detection Safety Sensor is a compact safety sensor system that works based on image processing technology. The safety sensing function is performed by a single image sensing unit, which can be viewed in passive mode as the background to view two-dimensional images. The detection principle is based on an object with a certain resolution blocking the pattern view of the image sensing device.
4. Safety Mat
Bulletin 440F MatGuard™ Safety Mats are pressure-sensitive safety guards designed to detect the presence of persons on the sensing surface. These carpets feature two conductive hardened steel plates that are held apart by a non-conductive compressible separator. We offer standard configurable and custom rugs, each with edge trim options.
5. Safety edge profile
Bulletin 440F Safedge™ safety edge profiles are available in three different cushioning factors and in two different materials. They have no rigid internal components that could penetrate or cause fatigue failure after prolonged use.
