Kinetix 5500

The 2198 Kinetix® 5500 Servo Drive can connect to and operate with a CompactLogix™ 5370 controller to support integrated motion based on EtherNet/IP™. With its innovative compact design, Kinetix 5500 drives help minimize machine size and simplify system wiring. In addition, dual-port Ethernet supports linear and device-level ring (DLR) topologies.

With an integrated safety drive, safety signals are routed through the EtherNet/IP network cable rather than hardwired from the drive to the controller.
