CompactLogix5480 Platform

The CompactLogix 5480 controller is a real-time controller that runs Windows 10 IoT Enterprise in parallel with the Logix Control Engine. The CompactLogix 5480 shares the same control engine as the ControlLogix® 5580 and CompactLogix 5380 controllers with a redesigned engine architecture. This family of Logix controllers supports embedded Windows applications such as data analysis, data collection, and predictive computing applications.

     • Supports up to 31 local 5069 Compact I/O modules

     • Provides enhanced security features including digitally signed controller firmware, controller-based change detection, and role-based routines and user-defined instruction access control logging

     • Allows users to deploy off-the-shelf and/or custom Windows 10-based applications while tightly integrating with real-time Logix controllers

     • Includes integrated DisplayPort for high-definition monitor connectivity

     • Includes two USB 3.0 ports for connecting operating system peripherals and expanding data storage capabilities

     • Comes with SD card up to 2GB for quick program save and restore
