RSLinx®

RSLinx®Classic is the most automated communication software available today. All versions of RSLinx® Classic provide the ability to browse automation networks, configure and diagnose network devices. Most Rockwell Automation design software includes RSLinx® Classic Lite free of charge so you can manage and maintain your control system. RSLinx® Classic "Single Node", "OEM" and "Gateway" versions offer DDE and Classic OPC DA data servers to allow third party software to access information within the control device. RSLinx Classic "Single Node" allows 32-bit applications running on the same PC using RSLinx Classic to interface with a single controller. The RSLinx® Classic "OEM" will go further by communicating with a moderate number of controllers. The RSLinx® Classic "Gateway" extends this to support information between 64-bit applications running on the same PC or on remote PCs using Ethernet. The "Gateway" version of RSLinx®Classic can also act as a centralized network connection point for multiple computers running RSLinx®Classic, allowing centralized management of network configuration.
