The servo drive portfolio includes a wide range of products, offering the right size and feature set for a wide range of applications. From single-axis component-level drives to multi-axis modular drives, we offer solutions designed to help you simplify your mechanical design while improving system performance. Our integrated motion drives install seamlessly with the Logix platform for ease of use and plug-and-play configuration. Network options and security features can be selected.
The Kinetix® 5500 servo drive can connect to and operate with a CompactLogix™ 5370 controller to support integrated motion control over EtherNet/IP™. With its innovative compact design, Kinetix 5500 drives help minimize machine size and simplify system wiring. In addition, dual-port Ethernet supports linear and device-level ring (DLR) topologies.
• Provides innovative shared AC/DC bus connections to configure multi-axis applications
• Includes dual port Ethernet
• Provides digital feedback over a single cable
• Provides a disturbance observer that allows up to 80-1 inertia mismatch
• Operates servo and induction motors on one drive platform
• Safe Torque Off certified to ISO 13849-1 PLd/SIL 2
• Kinetix 5500 Integrated Safety Servo Drive
With an integrated safety drive, safety signals are routed through the EtherNet/IP network cable rather than hardwired from the drive to the controller. You can change the configuration of any drive on the network without changing the wiring. By using an EtherNet/IP network, these can be done with just Studio 5000™ Logix Designer and your controller.
