The Micro870 controller is the latest addition to the Micro800® family, offering machine builders and end users a new level of scalability, flexibility and customization. The Micro870 controller is designed for larger stand-alone applications and comes standard with large-capacity memory to accommodate more modular programs and application user-defined function blocks. The embedded motion control function supports up to 2-axis motion control, and the TouchProbe instruction can record the position of the axis more precisely than using interrupts. In addition, Micro870 controllers can communicate with other devices over a variety of networks via EtherNet/IP™, serial ports, and USB ports.
